Junior golf in Armenia

On October 31 at the Ararat Golf Club were organized golf lessons for the children aged 6-7, 2nd grade of the regular school 117 after K.Zaryani.  Head coach of Golf Association Karen Hovhannisyan has been holding a program under which children get to know this sport, through a series of physical training exercises, introducing  the rules of the game, hitting and learning the correct position and shape. They were doing all that hard work with enthusiasm.

Such a program for the first time is organized in order to open a golf school in the near future, for which we are now preparing the children, giving some knowledge about this sport, said Karen.

A golf lesson was also attended by Mr. Hovnanian, Ararat Golf Club Founder President, who in 2005 founded the golf club. He gladly welcomed the program and kids and said that it is very important for the development Golf in Armenia such kind of events.
